Fishing in Scotland includes opportunities for salmon, brown trout and sea trout angling, but coarse fishing is increasingly popular and areas locally  for this are plentiful. Here you will find a great selection of rivers, lochs and for those wishing to sea fish the coastline has various spots where you can cast away to your hearts content.

The hotel is able to take bookings for the River Glass Fishings, subject to availability. Brochure available – Please contact the hotel direct. And a relaxing day fishing for salmon, trout or pike on the lochs and rivers Farrar, Glass and Beauly, in Strathglass is available from April through to October.

Our Location

The hotel is ideal for fishers, as we are only two miles from the Farrar. The Farrar, renowned for its fine trout and salmon fishing flows through two lochs, Loch a’ Mhuillidh and Loch Benneacharan, both with very easy access – wonderful fishing lochs. The River Beauly is one of Scotland’s best salmon-fishing rivers.

Following a relaxing day you can return to the hotel to share your stories, especially about the one that got away!
